Heineken Turn 4 Nightclub.
A nightclub built trackside at Turn 4 for the 2024 Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, running the full race weekend on the Koval Straightaway.
The Challenge
A Formula 1 street circuit is the least forgiving build environment in live events. The Las Vegas Grand Prix runs on live city roads, on a schedule the FIA sets and nobody negotiates, with a build and a strike measured against track access windows rather than convenience.
The brief was a nightclub, a room with the sound, the lighting and the service standard of a permanent venue, sited at Turn 4 and holding its own against a Grand Prix happening on the other side of the barrier.
The Approach
Design and Advance worked to the circuit's calendar first and the venue's second: access windows, load paths, and the compliance regime a live motorsport circuit imposes on everything inside it. Procure and Build packaged a room that could be installed in the time the track allowed.
Install and Operate ran to the race schedule across three days, with the guest experience holding through track sessions rather than around them. Close struck to the circuit's timetable, which on a street course is the deadline that actually matters.
A permanent venue's standard, built to a street circuit's clock.
The Result
The room ran across the 21–23 November race weekend. BizBash included the weekend's Turn 4 hospitality in its round-up of the standout activations at the 2024 Grand Prix, the trade read by the people who commission this work.
The promoter's own wrap-up called the 2024 race a new standard for the event.
